Restoration
This treatment is recomended were scratches or burn marks are present, or were heavy wear is showing either in patches or large areas of the floor. Italso applies if a copletely new colour is desired over the entire surface area of a previosly treated floor.
Scratches and burn marks
1.Lightly sand the spot to be restored
2.Eliminate dust. Clean with Rubio Monocoat Cleaner
3.Apply Rubio Monocoat Oil with a cloth or sponge
4.After a few minutes, wipe away any surplus product with a cloth or paper towel
5.The surface can be used again after 24 to 36 hours
If a treated floor shows too much wear (in patches or overall) or if a completely new colour is desired, we recommend a professional restoration of the entire surface of the floor using Rubio Monocoat. This work should preferably be carried out by a skilled floor fitter using professional sanding and polishing machines.
