Reference the colour charts

The colours shown on the colour chart may differ from the actual colours. The final colour depends on the type of wood and also the level of sanding. The colours on the chart have been applied on oak sanded to a 120 grade.

Important info on oils

When using oil based products, oil saturated cloths can spontaneously combust. These must be soaked in water before disposal. Do not leave saturated cloths lying around!

Directions for use

It really is as easy as 1.. 2.. 3..

1. After sanding to a level of around 120, ensure your wooden surface is clean and free from dust (if not we recommend cleaning the wood with Rubio Monocoat cleaner)

2. Using either a polishing machine, cloth, squeegee or brush apply the product sparingly to the surface (remember you can obtain up to 50 m2 per litre) and work into the wood along the grain.

3. The product has to be left for a minimum of 15 seconds but no longer than 15 minutes, before you wipe over the treated surface removing all the excess. For this we recommend using lint free cloths, which are available from this site.

When applying to large spaces we recommend you work in sections of around 2.5 m2 again working along the grain.

Full pictorial directions for use along with safety data sheets will be sent will every order.
